Neukirchen-Vluyn · Near Düsseldorf, Germany

A guest room, local tips, and a lot of hockey talk.

We are Jutta, Ingo, and Ben, a German hockey family living about 35 minutes from Düsseldorf. We are not looking to make money — we simply enjoy meeting hockey people from around the world. Two big events are bringing fans to our region: the NHL Global Series in December 2026 and the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in May 2027.

Who We Are

We live in Neukirchen-Vluyn, a small town about 35 minutes from Düsseldorf. Ice hockey has been a passion in our family for many years — through GSC Moers and our own games on the ice, we're not just fans watching from the stands. We're simply hockey-obsessed, and part of the German hockey community.

Ingo also works in Düsseldorf, so between commuting into the city and following the local hockey scene, we know it pretty well beyond just the arena.

When we heard that both the NHL Global Series and the IIHF World Championship were coming to our region, we knew a lot of fans would be traveling alone or in pairs, looking for something more than a hotel room. So we thought: why not open our home instead?

This isn't a business. There's no fee, no commercial listing, no catch. We just think hockey people should meet more hockey people.

Our House & Location

We live in a modern, low-energy house in Neukirchen-Vluyn — we generate our own energy, so a hot shower after a cold game day is never a problem.
