We are Jutta, Ingo, and Ben, a German hockey family living about 35 minutes from the arena. We are not looking to make money — we simply enjoy meeting hockey people from around the world. Whichever team you follow, you're welcome here.
About the Tournament
From May 14 to 30, 2027, Germany hosts the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, played in two arenas: the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf and the SAP Arena in Mannheim, home to Team Germany's group games. The final four games of the entire tournament are played right here in Düsseldorf — about 35 minutes from our house.
Who We Are
We're Jutta, Ingo, and Ben — a German hockey family in Neukirchen-Vluyn, about 35 minutes from Düsseldorf. Through GSC Moers and our own games on the ice, we're part of the German hockey community — not just fans watching from the stands. We're simply hockey-obsessed. Ingo also works in Düsseldorf, so we know the city well beyond just the arena.
This isn't a business. There's no fee and no commercial listing — we just think hockey people should meet more hockey people.
Your Guest Room & Getting There
We live in a modern, low-energy house — we generate our own energy, so a hot shower after a cold game day is never a problem. You get a private guest room with a double bed (suited for two people) and its own private bathroom. Feel free to use our kitchen, or let us know in advance and we'll happily cook with you. This isn't a hotel — we'll include you in our everyday life.

For many hockey fans visiting from overseas, this is a lot more memorable than another night in a hotel — and it's exactly why we're doing this.
